The first Sunday masses in this parish were celebrated beneath a tamarind tree. The congregation in grew when a chapel was built and more subdivisions were developed in the nearby communities in 1967. A council was convened by Fr. Tranquilino Cruz in 1989, and the chapel was enlarged, to include a rectory, a sacristy, and a priest's room on the second floor. By this time parishioners were assured of regular Sunday masses.
In 1990, the chapel community was elevated to the Chaplaincy of the Immaculate Conception. On December 7, 1991, the chaplaincy became the present parish. Fr. Cruz was installed as its first parish priest. In 2001, Fr. Dennis Soriano began the construction of a bigger church, which was completed by his successor, Fr. Fredrick Edward C. Simon. The church was blessed and dedicated to Mary the Immaculate Conception.
