Sta. Maria della Strada Parish

Before the Sta. Maria della Strada Parish was established, its faithful were part of the St. Joseph Archdiocesan Shrine Parish along Aurora Boulevard. However, by the late 1970s, the growing community, as well as the increasing number of the transient student population from the neighboring schools necessitated the establishment of a new parish.  It was Fr. William Kreutz, SJ, then Ateneo Chapel community minister, who broached the idea of starting a new parish to a group of Loyola residents.

On January 9, 1981, His Eminence Cardinal Sin signed the official documents creating the new parish. On March 25, 1981, Father Patricio “Pat” Lim was installed as the first permanent parish priest of Sta. Maria della Strada, where he remained the shepherd of his flock for more than 20 years.

Masses at the SMDS Main Church are as follows:
Monday to Saturday: 6:30am & 6pm
Sundays: 6AM (Tagalog), 7:30AM, 9AM, 10:30AM, 4PM, 5:30PM, 7PM (Tagalog)

Livestreamed Mass: 10:30 am Sundays
Daily Livestreamed Mass: 8:00am via Radyo Katipunan
