QUEZON CITY, Philippines – The Diocese of Cubao (DoC) Social Communications (SocComm) Ministry in cooperation with the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) is conducting a series of free skills development training exclusively for volunteers and parish Social Communication members of the 47 parishes in its vicariates.
The two organizations formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for a new way of evangelization at the Christ the King Green Meadows in November of the previous year.
DoC and PUP offers photography, graphic design, writing and other non-technical seminars that aim to provide participants with basic skills and knowledge they can use in media service.
Meanwhile, the first Workshop on Visual Aid entitled “PAAWER: How to put power to your Powerpoint Presentation” was done on the 24th of November last year with PUP Instructor Earl Guzman as guest speaker.
Furthermore, professional photographer and instructor James Ona led the Photography Seminar with a total of 130 participants last January 19.
