Diocese of Cubao to hold a Pastoral Approach to Rehabilitation and Formation – General Assembly

QUEZON CITY – The Diocese of Cubao Lay Formation Ministry has announced the upcoming Pastoral Approach to Rehabilitation and Formation, also called PAREFORM General Assembly, scheduled for Saturday, July 20, 2024. This important event will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the 10th floor of the Obispado de Cubao Building, located at #41 Lantana St., Cubao, Quezon City.


This assembly aims to bring together parish priests, Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) Lay Coordinators, and Parish Formation Ministry Coordinators for a time of reflection, discussion, and planning. The event underscores the Diocese’s commitment to fostering a collaborative approach to pastoral care and lay formation within the community.


Rev. Fr. Luisito O. Caupayan, Chairman of the PAREFORM Commission, extends a heartfelt invitation to all intended attendees. In his communication, Fr. Caupayan emphasizes the importance of this assembly in advancing the mission and objectives of PAREFORM, particularly in addressing the pastoral and rehabilitative needs of the community.


The priest mentioned that they partnered with the Quezon City Anti-Drug Abuse Advisory Council (QCADAAC) in this endeavor. “They provide psycho-social rehabilitation through their Community-Based Rehab Program and we provice psycho-spiritual rehab through PAREFORM.” Fr. Caupayan stated.


Some key individuals that will attend the General Assembly are Honorable Mayor Joy Belmonte of Quezon City, Vice Mayor Gian Sotto, Sec. Benjamin Abalos, Jr., of the Department of Interior and Local Government and the Bishop of Cubao Most Rev. Honesto Ongtioco DD.


Attendees can look forward to a comprehensive program that includes key updates and strategic discussions designed to enhance the effectiveness of their ministry work.
