OUR LADY OF THE MIRACULOUS MEDAL PARISH

The church building of this community was built with funds raised through projects initiated one after another until 1976. On September 4, 1976, the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish was created by decree of Jaime Cardinal Sin. Fr. Navarro was appointed the first parish priest who, barely three months after the parish's establishment, was reassigned to another parish.

At the time of Fr. Navarro's departure in 1977, the Archdiocese of Manila was busy preparing for the Fourth Synod designed to "respond to the existing needs of the local church and discern the signs of times and the Archdiocese.
