The Vicariate of Saint Joseph holds its B.E.C. Day

September 2, 2017 - The Vicariate of Saint Joseph organized their “Vicariate BEC Day at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish (IHMP)  in Diliman Quezon City. It was attended not only by the Kawans and Buklurans from the nine parishes in the vicariate, but also by their parish priests.

During the Mass celebrated on that day, IHMP parish priest Reverend Father Lito Ancla said that the BEC or Basic Ecclesial Communities are Christian, Human and Ecological communities.

After the Eucharistic celebration, there were dance and song presentations presented by each parish. The participants vied for prizes raffled during the fellowship lunch.

The vicariate day is an activity aligned with the Philippine Church’s 2017 celebration of the Year of the Parish as Communion of Communities. (Cubao Media)
