Saint Paul the Apostle Parish’s Youth brings a Colorful Fun-Run Your Way

Are you ready to run with bursting colors? The Kairos Youth Ministry of Saint Paul the Apostle Parish is bringing the fun in fun runs through COLORBURST 2017, a vibrant five-kilometer community run that is happening on September 23 along Scout Santiago, Barangay Laging Handa, Quezon City.

COLORBURST brings together people of all ages to enjoy a colorful race and an even more festive after-party right within the community.  Now on its third year, COLORBURST becomes more meaningful as the run will be held in celebration of the parish’s 38th anniversary. And the lively spirit of a fiesta will definitely be palpable as the run mixes in your favorite Pinoy games like luksong-tinik, patintero, and more.

The annual fun run was kick started back in 2015 by the Kairos Yuppies, the subgroup of the Kairos Youth Ministry composed of young professionals, to support the activities of the parish pastoral council and projects of the youth. Apart from sustaining its activities, the Kairos Youth Ministry is also adding a new goal on its list for this year’s run-- to raise funds for the reconstruction of Saint Paul the Apostle Parish.

To register for slots, just visit the Kairos Youth Ministry members at the COLORBURST booth located by the main entrance of Saint Paul the Apostle Parish.

Registration fee for individual runners is Php500.00 each, while groups of five can get a special price of Php2,000.00. The booth is open on Sundays from 9AM to 7PM. Check out facebook.com/COLORBURST2017 for more updates. (SPAP Kairos Media Ministry)
